| 1 | Amy's Outdoors Quilt This quilt was made for Amy Albaugh by her Grandmother, Mary Sherfick. It features 12 different appliqued blocks depicting a bear, moose, pheasant, ducks, a fisherman, a cabin, and other nature scenes. Each of these scenes represent the 12 months of the year, and the blocks are ordered in the proper month order, starting with the Cabin winter scene for January. | ||

The blocks were started then but the quilt was not completed until 2007. Over the years Mary worked on and off on the quilt. Carrie McAtee even helped when she was a little girl with the embroidery of at least one state. | ||

| 8 | Dresden Blue and White Quilt My Great Grandmother, Tabitha Barr, made this quilt. It has thousands of very tight hand-stitches and several different patterns of blue textured designs. | ||
| 9 | Erin's Fish Quilt Erin Albaugh made her first quilt this summer ('09) and received a special merit and blue ribbon at the Indiana State Fair. She also made a matching pillow in her fish theme. This photo is of the display at the State Fair. | ||

The Senior Citizen Center is just up the block from both grandmothers' homes, and now their granddaughter, Sylvia Albaugh, is the Martin County Sr. Center Director. | ||
| 11 | Grandma Wade's Green Quilt Grandma Maggie Wade made this from homemade dresses of Mom and her sisters. It is an 8-point star pattern. Because she didn't have material big enough to make the pieces in the design, she pieced the pieces. | ||

| 13 | Mom and Dad's Wedding Quilt This quilt was made by my Grandmother, Maggie Wade, for the wedding of my parents. Mom and Dad were married in 1953, so this quilt is over 50 years old. It was made this from homemade dresses of Mom and her sisters. | ||
| 14 | Rula's Pink and White Quilt This quilt was made by my Grand Aunt, Rula Smith Freeman, wife of Willie Freeman. It was given to me by my mom who bought it after Willie and Rula's deaths. | ||

| 16 | The Burning Bush Tabitha Freeman quilted this quilt when my grandmother, Maggie Wade, was only 8 years old. Maggie helped quilt this, and since she was born in 1904, the quilt is 105 years old. | ||
