![]() | The Huttons of Southern Indiana 1700-2000
By Edward L. Hutton Mr Hutton wrote this book and a few other editions about the Huttons, who immigrated to America from Ireland. Frank Hutton is mentioned on page 62. Edward L. Hutton was my third cousin, once removed. He donated millions of dollars to Indiana University and created the Lawrence County Museum of History on the Square in Downtown Bedford, Indiana. | Bio: Events In the Life Of Thomas D. Sherfick
Taken from the Shoals News; 5 Sep 1947 The old saying, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again” could well be taken as the motto by which Thomas D. Sherfick has achieved his latest and biggest success in that of Sherfick’s Inc. True, there has been other successes before this one, and there has been ventures that have failed. Always, though, Thom Sherfick has tried and tried again. As a result, we have Sherfick’s, Inc., a growing concern, employing one hundred and fifteen men and women, which is bringing much prosperity to Shoals and the surround community. Click to read first page. Back page unfortunately was lost. | 15 Jun 2010 | ||
| Music Service: Louisville Trade Show Tom Sherfick (left) at a Trade Show in Louisville, Kentucky. Beside him is his wife Jessie Sherfick, and to the right of the 2nd jukebox is Thomas' son, Tom Sherfick and his wife Barbara, then Thomas' daughter Lucille and her husband Bill Mullis. Note the unusual Band Box machine mounted high on the wall. Behind the curved glass was a mechanical orchestra that would play along with your juke box selection. | 15 Jun 2010 |
