    Listed wrongly as Shirfick in Indiana Marriages. Marriage records also say that he was born in Washington Co., Ohio.

    Charles Sherfick and his brother Samuel and his sister Cora Belle married Tredway siblings, Dicey C., Becky Ann, and George Tredway respectively.

    1900 census show Charles, Dicy and 7 children living in Lost River, Martin Co., Indiana.

    Charles Sherfick in 1915 was listed as a Trustee of Martin County, representing the Lost River Township.

    Charles H. Sherfick in 1920 is living with wife Alta R. and son Charles R. in Lost River Twn, Martin Co., IN.

    1930 Census, Lost River Twn, Martin Co., IN Census Person wrote Charley as his name, but he wrote it so illegibly, the census indexers thought it was Ansley H. Sherfick. Charles was living with second wife Alta R. Sherfick. Dewey was living with the couple. Dewey is Charles' son from his first wife.
