Sherfick and children Nell and Frank; John M. Sherfick and son John; Mrs. Anna Tredway and children George, Mildred, and Harold; Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Renneker; Mr. and Mrs. Cal Sherfick and children Walter, Carl, and Wilma; and Paul Garrison of Center, Ohio.
This newspaper clipping doesn't mention if the picnic was held in Shoals or Indianapolis. It had to take place before 1919 as Paul Gerretson wasn't married to Grace yet. It had to take place before 1912 as Calvin and wife had 3rd child Wilma in 1912.
William D. Sherfick was listed as Martin County Clerk on Dec. 15, 1910.

William Sherfick, Former Resident, Taken By Death

William D. Sherfick, 88, of Indianapolis, died October 1st, 1975. He was the son of John and Rachel (Waggoner) Sherfick, of Shoals. His wife, Liza (Albright) Sherfick, and a twin son, Charles, preceded him in death. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. C. J. (Jane) Granger, two sons, Robert P. and William J. Sherfick, of Indianapolis, five grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
He graduated from Shoals High School and Indiana University and was a member of the Shoals Methodist Church. While a resident of Shoals, he was very active in community affairs and in Democratic political activities. He was Clerk of the Circuit Court from December 15, 1910 to November 14, 1914, and owner and Publisher of Shoals News, in the early 1900's. After moving to Indianapolis, he was in Real Estate and Auto Sales business.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning. October 4th, at the Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.
